Just a reminder to all Ski Club Members. All paperwork and money is due to Mr. Carrier by next Wednesday October 25th.
There will be a Student Council meeting on Tuesday, October 17th during Period X. This is only for actual Student Council members. This is not open to Class Officers as we will be voting for our officers. Also on the agenda, if time permits, is working on the schedule for Blood Drive volunteers.
Any girl in grades 7th through 12th interested in playing Lady Panther Basketball, the sign-up sheets are posted on the bulletin board outside Mrs. Welty’s room. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask her or Coach Brooks. Also, the girls program will have their first open gym of the season on Thursday, October 19th from 6:30 – 8PM for anyone who is interested in shooting around and getting ready before the season starts on November 6th.
ATTENTION SENIORS: The Yearbook Club is still waiting on a few of you to hand in your baby/toddler photos for the yearbook. Also as a reminder, all senior photos are due this Friday. Please make arrangements to be sure they are in Mrs. Welty’s possession by then. If you ordered from Martin’s, 3rd Street, On Location, or Matt Williamson, you have no need to worry. I have already spoken with them and the pictures will be here soon. Also, your Senior Superlative voting sheets are due to Mrs. Welty by Friday as well. Filling out the sheet is not mandatory. You only have to do it if you would like a say in who is selected for which Superlative.
All individuals in 7-12 that are interested in participating in J.V or Varsity Wrestling please sign up outside Coach Milne’s Room. There will be a brief meeting on Wednesday 18th after school.
Winter Sports Physicals are this Wednesday right after announcements. If you need a physical please sign up in the nurses office. Remember physicals are good for one year. If you haven't had a physical within this year you will need one to play a winter sport. See Mrs. Colligan if you have any questions.
ATTENTION all boys interested in trying out for JV or Varsity Basketball we will be having open gyms starting next Monday to get a jump on the up and coming season. Dates time and location are posted outside of coach Torrey’s room. Any questions see Coach Torrey or Coach Wallace. REMINDER you must be academically eligible or attending study center and bring your slip to attend.

to college. Today is Hats off to College day.
The Portville boys modified soccer team defeated the Walsh Eagles 8-0 to finish the season last Friday. The Panthers closed the season by winning 10 straight games and improved their record to 13-3-1. Kyle Stone led the scoring attack with 3 goals while both Nick Harmon and Trey Williams added two goals apiece. Michael Cole also added a goal for the Panthers. Great season boys!
The girls varsity soccer team hosts a first round sectional game on Wednesday at 3:30. Come cheer on your lady panthers as they look to extend their season in a playoff match against Salamanca.
